What better way to demonstrate solar energy than with a solar-powered live music concert?! Solar education is our mission, and we’ve powered hundreds of live concerts and public speaking events with our Solar Stage, going all the way back to 1995 when we powered one of the very first SolarFest events in Eugene, Oregon. Some people say solar music just sounds better… that is actually possible because solar energy is isolated from the power grid and can be cleaner power.

Today — over 25 years later — we’re still going at it. The Solar SEED Project is now teaming up with the Solar Bus to take the Solar Stage to the next level! This means bigger stages, and more concerts powered by solar energy. And we want to help others (like you!) power your own Solar Stage. The Solar Bus could come to your event and power your stage, or we can even help you design your own Solar Stage that you can use for events indefinitely!
There’s not just one SolarStage. The Solar Stage is an idea. Someday all stages will be Solar Stages! Until then, we aim to solarize every one of them, on stage at a time…. !
