Located in the village of Desab, the Fanmi Lasante medical clinic serves several villages and reaches an estimated 10,000 people in the region. The medical needs in this community are great.
The Solar SEED Project (501-c3) installed a solar system in 2017 to provide electricity for
the clinic. For pictures of the 2017 installation project, click here.
The system has been operating for six years now. The Camel’s Hump Ride for Haiti seeks to raise approximately $5000 to replace the aging batteries and to add more solar panels, to accommodate two more refrigerators for storing medicine.
